Andrzej Piaseczny turned 50 this year. On this occasion, he released a new album entitled “50/50”. It includes the song “Miłość”, which was created in collaboration with Majka Jeżowska “, The singer came out on a Radio Show . Andrzej’s confession resulted in a media discussion and a series of conversations in which the singer openly talked about his sexual orientation.
The song says: “You can’t fall asleep and stop dreaming, and you want to share your life only with him.”
Piasek revealed what the song was about:
“The song “Miłość” is a bold song. At least what a courage. These are normal things in the world, not quite yet in Poland. In this song I’m talking about how each kind of love is very important and good. You are not allowed to exclude anyone. The most important thing is love, not who loves whom and why. Let everyone love each other if they want to.”
For a second consecutive year running, Poland is reported to be the least LGBTI-friendly EU country, ranking in a lower place then the previous year, according to the newest Rainbow Europe Index published this week by the advocacy group ILGA-Europe.
Out of 100 possible points, Poland received only 13. In Europe, only Belarus (12 points), Monaco (11), Russia (10), Armenia (8), Turkey (4), and Azerbaijan (2) were ranked even lower.
