Floating Novelties

When Miller (Jonathan Wilson) walks in on his boyfriend of two years, Ben (Thayne Caldwell), having an affair, their relationship is rattled. After a year of struggling to mend their relationship the two young men go on a weekend camping trip in the Rocky Mountains as a last ditch effort to salvage their relationship and romance. When they have to share a camping spot with two sisters Jessie (Payton Austin) and Tessa (Ashlyn Talcott) their weekend turns onto a path they weren’t expecting.
This short film pays homage to the Salt Lake valley and Rocky Mountains that hold beautiful scenery and getaways from the busting city. Director, Shane Aaron has written the screenplay and will be directing the independent short film which holds lessons revolving around values in relationships and mental health. Partnering with best friend, Kodi Sell, they bring a short film about love, forgiveness, and the bonds that hold people together.
