China’s gay shock therapy: It’s over 15 years since the Chinese Psychiatric Association stopped classifying homosexuality as a mental illness yet some hospitals in China continue to claim they can ‘cure’ gay people. There’s no scientific basis for their claims yet they offer procedures that even include painful electric shock treatment.
